Hello everyone. Just wanted to give a little update. I need to take a small break. I joined in a bible study at my Church called Breaking Free by Beth Moore. So far it is amazing and just in the past week i have been able to grow a lot! There are a few things from my past that I need to break free from and through god is the only way i am going to be able to do this. I want to serve him fully therefore I need to lay several things at his feet and walk away from them. In order to do that though I have to know how. I pray Gods blessings on each and everyone of you and that you too are wanting to serve him fully!

Scrapbook Etc. is running a year in review challenge. I think I am going to give this a go. I went through last years pictures and realized how much my children have grown! Amazing how fast time flies by when you love people so much! All in all we did have a good year. Of course there were some bumps in the road but without those I don't think we could fully appreciate the good times! I hope you take some time to look back on the last year or years of your life and enjoy the memories you and your family have made!

I got in my purse the other day and found that my calendar had expired (so I thought) so last night since my boys spent the night at a friends house and my 2 year old goes to bed at a reasonable time that I would make one. I was inspired by penny Duncan and you can find her link at the bottom of the page. If you have not had a chance to visit her blog and web site you are really missing some AMAZING art work with many ideas! Anyhow after making this I got out my old calendar to transfer some info to realize it did Have 2010 and I just didn't look far enough. Oh well I like my new one better! This was created using chipboard, DCWV once upon a time stack, cuts using SCAL and my Bind It all. TY Penny for inspiring me!

When I went to my mothers on Christmas she had to pull down her recipe box for something. It was a MESS with folded up papers of recipes she has collected over the years. Well Wed was my moms last day at work. The surgery center she worked at closed their doors. I decided she would need a lift in spirits and it would help her out too so I made this little book. It hangs on a stand on her kitchen counter. Hope it can inspire you to try something new!
